  2. Water- If the body is not hydrated pre, during and post workout, cramps and fatigue can hit hard.The recommendation is 7-10 ounces of water every 15 minutes. If you are the type that sweats more, hydrate yourself more

  3. Greens- Muscles contract during workouts. If you are potassium deficient, these contractions can lead to cramps. Leafy greens are dense with potassium and iron. These help greatly in muscle recovery

  4. Protein – protein rich foods when consumed within 30 minutes of a workout can repair the micro tear in your muscles fast and refuels energy stores. It is recommended that you eat 0.8- 1gram of protein , per kilo of your body weight per day. Eg: If you weigh60 Kgs you must eat 50-60 grams of protein per day for optimal muscle recovery and strength
